31st Annual Indoor Yard Sale

In 2016, Trinity Lutheran Church will host its 31st Annual Yard Sale on Saturday, May 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Located on North Atherton Street at 2221 North Oak Lane, the Yard Sale is held completely indoors, rain or shine.  Admission is free.  Doors open at 8:00 a.m.  Absolutely no early birds.

Donations Welcome.  Need to get a jump start on your spring cleaning, but don't want the hassle of hosting your own yard sale?  Trinity Lutheran Church will take your gently used goods!  Donations of household goods are accepted from around the community, and can be dropped off Wednesday May 4 through Friday May 5 by 8:00 p.m.  (No old "tube TV's.) Volunteers sort and organize items by type:  Electronics, clothing, linens, furnishings, housewares, books & media, toys, and more.  Children's furnishings, books, toys, clothing and more are among the most popular items.

Refreshments & BBQ.  For morning shoppers, baked goods and beverages will be available for purchase during the breakfast hour.  At lunch, refreshments like hot dogs and Pastor Ron’s famous slow-roasted BBQ Chicken with a few sides will be available for a picnic lunch, or to-go.

Car Wash.  Trinity Youth will hold a Car Wash on site the same day.  These donations and proceeds from the food and beverage sales will benefit the annual youth mission trip to Mt. T.O.P. Tennessee.

As in the past, this yard sale benefits local charities – all proceeds are directed to organizations that serve those in need.  This year's Yard Sale will benefit Interfaith Human Services, as well as Park Forest Preschool. Matching funds are again being requested from the Centre County Chapter of Thrivent Financial

Trinity Lutheran Church was established in 1965, and chartered in 1966, located on the edge of the famously designed suburban Park Forest Village.  Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, Trinity is a proud member of the Centre County and State College communities.
